Welcome to Carlisle & Hadrian's Wall
‘Welcome to Carlisle', has been developed to encourage businesses to increase their knowledge of Carlisle and its surrounding area, had its launch in January '10 and was so successful that ten courses have been delivered to date.

Grants available for leadership and management development, training / coaching / consultancy
A grant of up to £1000 is available to small businesses who want leadership and management development training / coaching / consultancy. This must be match funded by the business. Grant available through the Skills Funding Agency and run by The Business and Enterprise Group.
As part of this service a full training needs analysis is offered along with the ability to provide impartial advice on training providers/coaches who can deliver the identified training needs. The grant can fund coaching, mentoring, MBAs, leadership courses, strategic marketing, financial management, people management etc.
To be eligible you must:
· Be NW based
· Have between 2-249 full time equivalent employees (FTE)
· Be the CEO/partner/owner of the company or if over 10 FTE then the next reporting level
· Have the potential to grow by 60% over the next 3 years in revenue or employee numbers
