What are the benefits?
These surveys enable Cumbria Tourism to report quickly and accurately on the state of the tourism industry in the county. The survey has been carried out for a number of years and so provides continuous trend data to monitor changes over time. It is a crucial opportunity for dialogue with tourism businesses, allowing us to explore issues relevant to the development of the tourism industry - such as the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, business needs (which can be used as evidence to support funding applications), or employment and skills development issues.
