Grants Fund
Cumbria Tourism is pleased to announce a new small grants fund to support projects which assists The Lake District –
The grant fund is worth £250,000 and is able to support three types of activity.
£135,000 - Capital Grants - for projects which will deliver new outdoors tourism products.
£90,000 - Festival & Event Grants - is allocated to support major outdoor activity festivals and events.
£25,000 - Feasibility Study Grants - for potential future outdoor focused projects.
The Capital and Festival & Event Grants will be considered by a panel which will judge applications according to the rules and to the eligibility criteria, and make awards. The panel has been selected from private and public sector representatives of organisations connected to the outdoor sector. The panel's decision is final.
The Feasibility Study Grants will be allocated by Cumbria Tourism.
