Grants Fund

Cumbria Tourism is pleased to announce a new small grants fund to support projects which Assists The Lake District – Cumbria, position itself as the British centre for outdoor sports and activities under the banner, "Adventure Capital".  The grants funding has been provided by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA).

The grant fund is worth £250,000 and is able to support three types of activity......more here

Cumbria Tourism Awards 2008 Winners!

The winners of the 2008 Cumbria Tourism Awards were revealed at a special ceremony in Kendal last night (Tuesday 13th May).

 

Dozens of businesses and professionals from around the county gathered at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal to hear the winners announced by Radio Cumbria broadcaster Martin Plenderleith.
