New venue and date announced for the 2016 Cumbria Tourism Awards

Cumbria Tourism the official tourist board for the county, is pleased to announce that the 2016 Cumbria Tourism Awards celebration will be held on Wednesday 22nd June at Cartmel Racecourse and catered by Rowley’s Offside.

Our award finalists will begin celebrating their achievements on the evening with a drinks reception at this glamorous black tie event. The winners of the Cumbria Tourism Awards 2016 will then be revealed in the awards ceremony before the guests sit down to enjoy some of the best Cumbrian produce during a three course dinner created and served by Rowley’s Offside.

This exciting new venue means we are able to invite larger numbers of guests to our 14th Awards celebration.  The award finalists will be announced later in the year and tickets will be available to anyone else who would like to help celebrate Cumbria’s tourism industry on the evening.

In the meantime, there’s still time to enter the 2016 Cumbria Tourism Awards for your chance to be presented with an iconic and bespoke award made by award-winning architectural and sculptural metalworkers Chris Brammall Ltd in Ulverston.

Due to the busy Easter period we have extended the deadline until Monday 4th April at 5pm to submit your entry into the 14th Cumbria Tourism Awards so download your entry form today:
