Cumbria Coastal Route
The Cumbria Coastal Route (CCR) is the basis of Cumbria Tourism’s coastal marketing and PR activity to attract visitors to less-visited coastal areas throughout the year. It invites visitors to discover everything the Cumbria Coast has to offer, encouraging them to stay longer, explore more and support our communities, businesses and jobs.
Developing the Cumbria Coastal Route (CCR) into a multi-user, sustainable, active travel route is a key action in the county’s collective Destination Management Plan (DMP). That includes train-hopping, cycling, walking, horse riding, camping and more.
