We are an independent garage offering a personal service located close to the centre of Windermere. We aim to build on our good local reputation from word of mouth and repeat customers.

We work with all makes of cars, light commercial and PSV vehicles. We formerly operated as Chestnut Road Garage owned by Chris Dobson, who is still on our team offering our customers his 50+ years knowledge in the automotive industry. We have just recently completed a redevelopment of our new premises in Windermere (opposite our old garage) we look forward to welcoming you. As a bus company Mountain Goat have operated in Windermere since 1972, and we have run our garage operation, open to all, since 2016.
