What is Discover England Fund?
In November 2015, the Government announced a £40 million Discover England Fund; an unprecedented opportunity for English tourism. The Fund aims to deliver world-class bookable tourism products joined up across geographies and/or themes to provide an end-to-end customer experience.
The English National Parks Experience Collection programme is one of the Discover England projects funded by Visit England and is the outcome of a collaborative project by nine of England’s National Parks. The project has been working with local businesses to develop outstanding visitor experiences in our National Parks which will have greater appeal to international audiences and will enable the travel trade to create exciting new itineraries for rural England. These unique and immersive visitor experiences targeting visitors from Australia and Germany will standout in the global marketplace and tell the story of our landscapes, history and culture.
