The Lake District Foundation works with the Lake District National Park Partnership to help generate funds to look after this special place. We know that visitors to the area value our landscape, wildlife and heritage. It is important that we look after what we have in order to ensure future generations continue to have a world class experience. To date we have generated over £2.5million through our innovative Visitor Giving scheme for local conservation projects. We want to do more and help businesses get involved.
We currently work with over 200 businesses in Cumbria, all of whom who are actively fundraising for us. Experienced LDF staff and volunteers are on hand to help businesses to achieve their fundraising goals, and their supporters report the following business benefits:
• Increased staff engagement and retention
• Authentic and meaningful stories to share with your customers
• Reach your CSR goals
• Meet like-minded businesses
• Playing a part in the conservation of our special destination
… to name but a few!
