Cumbria Tourism continues to be in close communication with partners at a national, regional, and local level, discussing ongoing issues for the visitor economy, and working together on a plan for the future.
Our research puts us in a unique position. As well as being used to successfully generate PR and raise our profile, it has given us the evidence we need to effectively lobby on your behalf. We have been asked for, and provided data, and it is clear DCMS are using it. At our recent meeting with the Tourism Minister it was clear that there is an ongoing need for real-time data as the sector begins to open up.
